SABBATH - Formed in
2008, Sister Sabbath is different
from the other Sabbath tribute
bands, boasting a female singer
who covers all the eras of
Black Sabbath with ease. Their
set list covers every angle
of the band's vast career
from their biggest hits to
underground favorites, with
an entertaining stage show
featuring some of the city's
finest musicians and a psychotic
nun's outfit front and centre.
Vancouver's new female-fronted
Sabbath tribute is a force
to be reckoned with!
ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin
Tribute featuring Rachel Davis
- Born in LA, Rachel Davis
started playing music in front
of audiences when she was
7, busking on the streets
of Peru. In 2010 she formed
Rachel Davis And The Banned
with some friends of considerable
talent, showcasing her powerful
vocals and near 5 octave range.
Don't miss her dynamic interpretation
of Led Zeppelin classics,
delivering their essential
songs with fiery and impassioned
DOWN A DREAM (Tom Petty
Tribute) - Mark Ingram started Runnin'
Down A Dream in 2009 as a way to introduce
new fans to the music of one of the
greatest songwriters in rock and roll
while entertaining existing fans with
familiar hits and standout rarities.
This kick-ass band of experienced
musicians will blow you away with
their high energy takes on classic
Tom Petty songs like American Girl,
Free Fallin' and Mary Jane's Last
Dance, not to mention a song or two
from the Traveling Wilburys, Mudcrutch,
and Petty's Live Anthology.
In the Railway's Caboose:
JOE BURKE presents timeless
and topical subject matter through
an intensely expressive fusion of
country, rockíníroll and the blues.
A powerful and passionate singer-songwriter,
his rowdy and rousing alt-country
music has been stopping and stealing
hearts since he first emerged in Vancouverís
music scene in 2006.
AND THE BREAKDOWN create
a refreshing, Juno-nominated spin
in the fabric of their blues, weaving
threads of rockabilly, r&b, country,
Latin and rock & roll into heartfelt
tales of life & death, women &
whisky, homefire & travel and
love & heartbreak.
PERNELL REICHERT BAND is an
upbeat Vancouver-based trio with a
high energy live act that features
fast folky songs with intricate finger
picking, electric slide guitar, foot-stomping
banjo and witty banter with the audience.

New Year's celebration!
JOHN BATES has caught the
attention of Quentin Tarantino and
Jello Biafra by spinning dark cabaret,
rustic blues and alternative country
into a sound that can be described
as Americana Noir. With over 1000
live shows under his belt, John's
gruff baritone and blues-driven Gretsch
mixes with bandmate Brandy Bones'
unhinged soprano and spell-binding
presence, their compelling stage chemistry
and blinding intensity riveting audiences
throughout North America and Europe.
COWBOY - Renowned for spawning
ingenious creations of bad taste and
dizzying chaos, Japanese Cowboy definitively
delivers the innovative meta-rock
stylings of WEEN. Ween's incredible
musical diversity, reckless experimentation
and cheeky humour has traversed almost
every genre in existence, brilliantly
blended with genuine rock'n'roll excitement.
MILK PIPES - Sounding like
a '63 Impala comin' sideways around
a corner on two wheels, The Milk Pipes
always drop the hammer on their original
tunes with a joyful and reckless abandon.
Tube amps and classic guitars slash
against the solid punch of a rhythm
section born to serve the song while
keys and ukes underpin the whole cacophony
with delicious counter melodies.
OF DAUGHTERS builds a shared
love for gritty, southern, whisky-slinging
blues into undeniable songwriting
chemistry showcasing the talents of
Chrystal Leigh, frontwoman for Dave
Ogilvieís industrial pop hybrid project
Jakalope & Jimmy Thow, former
frontman for Vancouver hard rock band
Machines. Their music offers swampy
riffs, haunting melodies, fireside
storytelling and refreshingly candid
In the Railway's Caboose:
IN THE WOOD
SHACK is a six-piece acoustic
band with unapologetic honesty and
more intrigue than a well told story!
Their members hail from opposite ends
of the country, forging a gypsy, western,
pirate punk sound that's raw and untamed,
straight from hell riding on drunken
ALMIGHTY PLAYERS featuring

fusion music that will keep you dancing,
singing and shouting.
delivers an unholy alliance of rock,
country, soul, gospel, blues and punk
styles that go together like moonshine
and mason jars, preaching and sinning,
Vegas and vice. A featured artist
at the 2010 Winter Olympics, their
glorious mayhem has earned them a
loyal fan base on both sides of the
Atlantic in the wake of regular hometown
shows and two memorable tours of the
UK and Ireland.
